Ok, I think I might be back to bloging for awhile.

Here are a few things that have been going on. We are remodeling our kitchen. I am doing most of the work. It has been a killer.


Shelley and I just returned from the Emergent Gathering. Michael Toy took some great pictures that should be on the www.emergentvillage.com site soon.

The book is scheduled to come our in January. It has been renamed again. Now it is Reimagining Spiritual Formation: A Week in the Life of an Experimental Church.


I have been doing some thinking about vocation and everyday life in the kingdom. I am going to try to be disciplined enough to write about this on my blog over the next few months.

Since my last blog I have been to Guatemala with Solomon’s Porch, spoke at one of the Worship Together Events, sat in on my first Gospel In Our Culture Network board meeting, Spoke at the Emerging church event in Chattanooga, and went to the Emergent Gathering.

Family is good the kids are fully in school and now I need to develop the means to be a dad to three middle schoolers. Chico is in 4th grade, and we have that down by now.

On another note, I am being pressured hard by friends to get into a Mac. I think I might be giving in, but the cost seems so high.
