So in the last two days I have receive emails from 16 people saying that they would be glad to read my chapters.
It is hard to beleive that 16 even look at this blog, but maybe everyone who saw it said yes.

Thank you readers. i was going to put their names here, but 24 starts in one minute so I will have to do it latter.

I was once again reminded today there is a significant difference in those who are trying to do a Gen X version of church and those of us who are trying to reach for something new.

I am amazed at all the people doing the same old evangelical or reformed ministry with an edgy feel and reqally have no sense of reaching for something new in christianity let alone church.

We really need people willing to step into the future.

I am working on a book called "A week in the life" it is a descriptive telling of how we do spiritual formation using holistic methods and not just the education model.

It is going to published through the emergent/YS line with Zondervan in January 2004. I need to have it done and edited by July. The editor is Carla who is part of Solomon's Porch, so we are working on each chapter as we go.

I am looking for a dozen people who will read for me as I write. So if you would be willing to read chapters as I finish them I would love you feedback.
Send me an email to Doug@solomonsporch.com and if I am still looking for people I will start sending them to you.
